Offering constantly its’ know-how and technical expertise is the most important feature of our R&D department. Our know-how enables to offer innovative packaging solutions including demanding notions such as eco-design, weight optimization, recycling, carbon footprint and also HACCP directives. The in-house tooling department being directly managed by the R&D department offers an additional competitive edge in reactivity and conception of pilot tooling.

MBP has launched two new hinge closures with tamper evident pull-off ring and a pouring dropless system for the fruit-syrup market. These two products and their thin wall injection molding technology are based on an MBP patent for ring-pull PP closures. This technology enables a 40% weight reduction in the design of the closures. Through their eco-design the new products are more environment friendly and they contribute to the optimization of the forthcoming carbon footprint directives.

In 2009, MBP refreshes its food and beverage closure range (fruit syrup, sauces with cold and warm filling process, vinegars and edible oils) and offers new transparent color alternatives. Thus MBP has adapted to the new trends on the market to meet the most demanding food industrial regulations.

Once again MBP has innovated by developing a standard auto-dosing cap which allows the end user to dose an adequate volume of liquid or powder products. This auto-dosing cap prevents the direct contact with chemicals products and is a reliable alternative to guarantee constant pouring volumes. Moreover it contributes to optimize the forthcoming carbon footprint environmental directives.
